Sixth Grade Students From Southport Middle School To Attend Sunday's Colts Game Against Tennessee

September 12, 2003

A selected group of sixth grade students at Southport Middle School will attend the Indianapolis Colts home opener versus Tennessee on Sunday as part of the Peyton's Pals Ticket Incentive Program. The school received 50 tickets, t-shirts and a voucher for a free meal at the RCA Dome.

The PeyBack Foundation instituted the Peyton Pals Ticket Incentive Program in 2002, which allows disadvantaged children the opportunity to attend Indianapolis Colts home games throughout the season. The foundation carefully selects local community organizations to participate in the program. Each organization must implement an incentive program to choose who attends the game. Possible ideas for incentive programs include rewards for good grades, solid behavior, perfect attendance and improved grades over the course of the year, just to name a few.

Southport Middle School chose its kids based on attendance, good behavior and citzenship, effort in the classroom and being a positive classroom leader.

Each child will receive a PeyBack Foundation T-shirt along with a voucher for a free meal at the RCA Dome concession stand (coke, hot dog, chips, and pretzel). All of the tickets are together at the RCA Dome.

The official sponsors of the PeyBack Foundation are American Family Insurance, Huntington Bank, Marsh Supermarkets, and St. Vincent Hospital.
