Children From "True
Heroes" Program Celebrate The Holidays
January 3, 2005
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning hosted more than
100 children from St. Vincent's Children's Hospital at the "True
Heroes" Holiday Celebration at Brebeuf High School on December
14. The event included a visit with Santa Claus, special games,
face painting, and much more.
The PeyBack Foundation established the "True Heroes"
program in September of 2004. Each month, the Foundation sponsors
a special event with children from St. Vincent Children's Hospital.
Manning considers these children the "True Heroes"
in life as they continue to fight an uphill battle each day
at the hospital. Events have included a special pizza party
with the children at the hospital and a private dinner at Jillian's
in downtown Indianapolis. |
